2010 I got an invite to Care of Hotels headofficecs for a meeting with Jenny Baker (formerly Ljungberg) who was in the need of stock photos for promotional purposes to be used for Häringe Palace’s website and publications.
Jenny said to me: “Your imagery represents my vision” I later got a personal invite to Jenny’s hotel, The Maidstone, located in East Hamptons in USA, where I then stayed for a few days and got inspired by all the beauty Jenny had created there. Jenny Baker is one of Sweden’s leading collectors of photography, an interest that is also shown in her husband Jonathan Baker who is a director and cinematographer for Paramount Pictures.
When I came home and put up some photos on my blog I got an email from Jonathan Baker saying: “Kicki your photos from the hotel are amazing!”. Shortly thereafter I got hired to document the renovations of the suites in the west wing of Härringe Slott, a mission that resulted in photographs that are now used on c/o Hotels website.
