It is said that my pictures are a bit mysterious, that they have a streak of darkness and even crime. 13 years as a forensic photographer at Stockholm crime scene unit has shaped my imagery. 20 years later, I use my experiences and create, reconstruct, even play.

I got to borrow a beautiful vintage sequined jacket. My muse L got to be a model at my cabin in the outermost sea band one late summer evening. I wanted to see the harsh evening sun light up the sequins, see them sparkle. As I wrapped L in the plastic and the sequins reflected on the surface of the sea, I thought of Narcissus “drowning in his own reflection”.

I photographed with my leica camera and black and white film, back to basic..
