Maria&Jennifer from Manhattan New York had a real fairy tale wedding last summer.
Feature in the magazine Lifestyle Wedding winter 2018-2019.
Dearest Kicki, everyday we look back at our beautiful photos from you and the moments come all back. Thank you for capturing our big day in such a wonderful way!
We’d be delighted if you want to show some of the photos. For us as gay women it’s important to show that there isn’t just one way of looking or dressing – you can actually get the castle and an all lace dress and veil and big trains even if you’re a woman and gay!
The brides met at a political fundraiser in New York City. Maria, from Sweden, was then working for the Clinton family at the time. She is now a partner at Arabesque, an investment firm using sustainability data and artificial intelligence. Jennifer, a former artist, had left the art scene and is now a senior executive at JP Morgan.
Jennifer is a former renowned artist whose work is a part of The Whitney permanent collection in New York. She also exhibited at the Whitney Biennial several years ago. During The Whitney 2018 Biennial, Jennifer surprised and proposed to Maria at the opening night. No one knew if it was an art installation.. she proposed in the middle of one of the big exhibition spaces and the audience were taking pictures and applauding. And Maria said yes!
