Caroline & Fredrik

We had our first meeting at a cafe in Stockholm 6 months before the wedding. I got to hear their plans for the wedding, and after the meeting I got an email where they wrote that that they would be honored if I accepted to be their wedding photographer. They also booked for the engagements session, I shoot those photos one may evening up at the Fåfängan with a view overlooking Stockholm, an amazing backdrop. I met up with the wedding couple outside the Katarina church on the wedding day, I captured the first look. Caroline looked stunning when arriving in her costume made wedding dress. Fredrik was so handsome and a bit nervous. As they entered the church,  the guests cheered as well as the wedding couple. After the ceremony there was a massive amount of petals in the air, caroline told me that she asked the florist to trippel the amount of petals ”its once in a lifetime and I really want to feel the scent of petals”. We left the church in a Rolls Royce, we stayed outside Fotografiska for a short portrait session, they popped the champagne and had a god time before arriving at the venue. As we where getting closer to the venue, Carolines hairdo broke, so we decided to stop at Bauhaus to buy rubber bands. I followed her with my leica, I love the photo of Caroline whistling on her way back to the Rolls-securing the hair updo with new rubber bands. I tok Caroline&Fredrik for a short photo session in the park at BroHof, making it a playful and romantic memory in the warm afternoon light. As the wedding couple arrived to the reception in a golf car, 150 st guests greeted them and the party went on all night long.

After the wedding Caroline sent me a note: Me and Fredrik meet each other in Stockholm and moved to Kanada after 6 months, we wanted to skii together. Fredrik proposed high up on a mountain in Whistler, and I said yes!! We decided to get married in Stockholm the year after, and so it was. We choose to have the wedding in Katarina church and the party at BroHof. We went to Italy during the honey moon where we spent 3 lovely weeks wining and dining during romantic evenings.
